WOMUK’s Governance will be in accordance with its constitution which will be mapped out and developed by the Steering Group prior to election of the Council and further refinement by a Working Group.
Management Team. WOMUK will be managed by paid officers comprising the CEO, Operations Director and Membership Secretary who will run WOMUK’s affairs on a day to day basis reporting to the Council.
The Management Team’s appointment and duties will be contained in the Constitution.
The results of the Council elections by Members’ ballot will be announced at the Launch Summit on 16th October. Thereafter the Council will be re-appointed every year effective 30th December by a ballot of the Members at the AGM (due to take place at the annual conference). The next Council elections will be carried out in 2008, allowing the initial Council to run from October 2007.
