WOMUK was formed after months of research in Spring 2007.

WOMUK has been set up as an independent organisation to mirror the success of the USA's WOMMA in establishing a not for profit, member-owned trade association, to provide Members with ethical operating guidelines and dedicated to promotion and furtherance of good practice in the WOM industry.
